Elspeth is based in West Lothian, Scotland but she and her carefully selected associates are able to provide training across the UK and Europe. Improvement in the use of Online services for therapeutic support enable her to offer support worldwide.

As lead facilitator and coach, Elspeth has a background spanning 35 years as a qualified Social Worker supporting children and their families within our communities. She has been practising Mindful techniques for 30 of those years.

She is a qualified teacher of Mindfulness with The Mindfulness Association and  is trained to DDP level Two. She has a particular interest in PACE and Mindful Parenting, the creating of psychologically safe holding spaces for those in limbo at times of crisis, and in recovery from trauma.

Elspeth has been able to extensively deepen her knowledge of trauma informed practices and adverse childhood experiences whilst finding many opportunities to diversify and add
qualifications, responsibilities and experience working long term in multi - disciplinary teams.

Elspeth and her associates are experienced in providing CPDC training for Social Workers, Residential Workers, Foster Carers and Care Experienced adults and Young People. Her associates have special interest in supporting veterans, PTSD and Menopause. Elspeth managed the Learning and Development team for the UK’s market leading independent Fostering Agency.

Elspeth has explored resilience and mindfulness as preventative factors for psychological distress in supporting staff that live in the present with the traumatised child, supporting those that experience vicarious trauma and those that experience the everyday trauma of life.  She has developed and delivered Therapeutic preparation to foster training , childhood attachment reflective practice assessment tools and training in therapeutic parenting for foster parents and social workers across the UK in support of children
affected by relational trauma.
